The Big East Championship is down to Georgetown (22-10) and top-seeded UConn (28-5). In the semifinals the Huskies played in one of the most dominant games in conference history. They defeated Marquette 58-29, holding the Golden Eagles to zero points for nearly 15 straight minutes to close the game. Paige Bueckers finished with her first double-double of the season with 27 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals. She stepped up in a major way with co-star Aaliyah Edwards out of the lineup giving the rest of the team an opportunity to step up in the win.

One of those players that filled the void for Edwards and played a terrific game was sophomore Ice Brady. She got the start and played all 40 minutes finishing with 10 points and five rebounds in the win.
This season the Huskies are undefeated in conference play going 18-0, including two wins against the Hoyas by 68 total points. They won every game in the Big East by double-digits, including two wins against the Hoyas by scores of 85-44 and 83-55 during the regular season.
If Edwards is out again today the Huskies will be more vulnerable than normal, but are still going to be the heavy favorites to win the Big East Championship today. Bueckers is a large reason why with the senior averaging 28.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 3.5 blocks and 3.0 steals per game so far in two conference tournament games. She has been on fire and looks to lead the Huskies to their fourth straight Big East Conference Championship.
